Our Collections
Artisan Inspired
From our first collection launched in 2001, a series of pieces inspired by modernist masterpieces to our most recent Selenite collection, our studio has focused on the application of beautiful materials within exquisite design.
Utilizing beautiful historic materials like Macassar Ebony, Lacquered wood inlaid with bronze, genuine parchment and shagreen, over the years we have expanded to encompass techniques of bronze casting, inlay, brilliantly designed and custom machined hardware and details in fine metals.
Most recently, our Selenite collection, a series of designs that seamlessly blend Selenite crystal with brilliant metals to create warm, shimmering stunning surfaces that capture light and create ethereal luminous pieces is found in some of the highest end projects worldwide.
Outside of our collections, our studio has also collaborated on significant bespoke projects, providing interior design clientele as well as individual clients with the finest in custom furnishings.

Our California-based studio, led by principals Jeff and Beth Newell, has been designing and crafting modern furniture for over 20 years. What began as a creative pursuit inspired by art, design, and natural materials has grown into a collection of timeless designs that bridges modern aesthetics with forward-thinking craftsmanship.
We emphasize the beauty of natural materials—bronze, parchment, lacquer, fine woods, and selenite—transforming them into pieces designed to endure for generations. Each creation is a reflection of thoughtful design and meticulous artistry, enriching the spaces it inhabits.
Our clients include leading AD100 interior design firms and emerging designers worldwide, many of whom have trusted us for decades. These lasting relationships reflect our commitment to creating work that is calm, confident, and sophisticated.
In our Orange County studio, a small team of skilled craftspeople and independent artisans—including finishers, upholsterers, and metal and woodworkers—brings each design to life. Their expertise ensures every piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship.
As we look to the future, we are forging new partnerships with select artisan workshops to expand our collections while staying true to our founding principles. Our studio remains dedicated to creating furniture that embodies enduring artistry and thoughtful design.
